We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial records and support accurate accounting operations. This role is ideal for someone familiar with Australian bookkeeping practices and comfortable working in a remote-first environment.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Record daily transactions, invoices, receipts, and payments.
• Reconcile bank statements, credit cards, and general ledger accounts.
• Assist with payroll processing and expense reporting.
• Prepare and support BAS, GST, and PAYG reporting.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain organized financial documentation and audit-ready records.
• Liaise with accountants and internal stakeholders as required.

✅ Requirements

• Certificate IV in Accounting & Bookkeeping or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting support roles.
• Solid understanding of Australian bookkeeping standards, GST, and BAS.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, or similar).
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Fluent in English.
• Based in Australia with the legal right to work full-time.
