Global Accounts Payable Manager

About therole Your Mission: Fresh Clinics is maturing fast, and our finance operations need to keep pace. We’re looking for an innovative Global Accounts Payable Manager to lead our international AP function, someone who doesn't just process payments but builds the systems that make those payments seamless. This is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for overseeing high-volume transactional processing across our US, Australian, and Philippine operations. Your goal is to transform our AP function into a global centre of excellence, by leveraging automation, strengthening internal controls, and managing a high-performing global team. What you'lldoThe Role:

• You’ll lead and mentor a distributed team of AP Specialists (PH), setting clear KPIs for accuracy, volume, and turnaround times
• Standardise AP processes across regions to ensure a "one-way" global approach while accounting for local tax and banking nuances
• Act as the lead for AP automation initiatives, optimising Sage Intacct and third-party OCR/AI tools to achieve >80% straight-through processing
• Continuously evaluate the fintech landscape to implement tools for automated reconciliations and processing
• Manage the global AP close, including complex multi-currency accruals, inter-company eliminations, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Partner with Finance leadership to manage global payment runs, optimising timing to support working capital goals

Who youare

• A "Systems Thinker": You have a fire in your belly for automation. You see manual work as an opportunity to build a better tool.
• You have strong expertise in Sage Intacct (or a comparable enterprise ERP system) and advanced proficiency in Excel, including tools such as Power Query and Macros.
• You thrive in the "grey" of a maturing business. You stay calm during complex month-end cycles and provide clear, empathetic feedback to your team, and strong advocacy for them when interacting with stakeholders.
• You understand the difference between AUD and USD compliance and enjoy the challenge of working across time zones (even if it means an occasional early morning meeting).

We'd love you tohave

• 5+ years in AP, with at least 3+ years leading teams in a multi-entity, global environment.
• Proven experience implementing OCR/AI tools to handle high-volume transactions.
• You’ve managed finance operations across different regions (US & AU preferred).
• A Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance (CPA or CA is a huge plus).
