Power Apps Lead

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Power Apps Tech Lead to take ownership of designing and developing a user interface that interacts with a SQL-based job execution framework. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role working from offshore, with full responsibility for delivering a scalable and maintainable solution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development of a Power Apps solution for internal users.

• Build intuitive UI screens to support Production Support (L2/L3) teams in:

  • Searching job executions

  • Monitoring job status

  • Investigating failures

  • Managing execution records

• Integrate Power Apps with SQL Server for querying, displaying, and updating job-related data.

• Design simple, efficient, and user-friendly interfaces tailored for operational use.

• Ensure high-quality, maintainable, and extensible code for future enhancements.

• Follow Power Platform best practices and enterprise development standards.

• Enable future scalability by structuring the solution for easy extension by engineering teams.

Key Requirements

• Strong experience with Microsoft Power Apps and the broader Power Platform.

• Proven ability to independently design and deliver UI-based business applications.

• Experience integrating Power Apps with SQL Server or similar databases.

• Exposure to job execution frameworks, operational dashboards, or monitoring tools.

• Solid understanding of:

  • Reusable component design

  • Error handling and logging

  • Code optimisation techniques

  • Collaborative development practices

• Experience working across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).

• Ability to build solutions used by internal teams within IT or business units.

• Familiarity with source control and managing code within enterprise environments.

Nice to Have

• Experience building internal, department-level applications.

• Background in production support tooling or operational platform
