Lead a national finance function through change, embedding strong governance, scalable systems and commercial insight in a transforming aged care and community services organisation.
The organisation
integratedliving is a not-for-profit in-home aged care provider specialising in support for older Australians in regional and rural communities, supporting people to live independent, active lives through community-based services. The 1,200+ strong workforce of dedicated professionals delivers vital home care, health and wellbeing services to more than 20,000 people across the east-coast of Australia each year.
The opportunity
The finance function plays a critical role in enabling organisational sustainability, performance and informed decision making through strong financial stewardship, governance and commercial insight. Through robust financial control, contemporary systems and practical business partnering, the Head of Finance will support leaders to manage risk, optimise resources and navigate a complex funding and regulatory environment with confidence. This role partners closely with leaders to drive financial discipline, support growth, and build scalable capability that enables the organisation to deliver on its purpose and strategic priorities.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Head of Finance will lead and develop a large national finance team, providing financial governance and commercial leadership across the organisation. This is a senior, hands-on role with responsibility for building capability, lifting performance and leading change.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead financial control, statutory reporting, compliance and audit delivery
- Own budgeting, forecasting, cashflow management and performance reporting
- Drive finance systems, process and automation uplift to enable scale
- Partner with the CFO and investment manager on investment governance and reporting
- Lead and develop a large, national finance team
- Oversee AP, AR and finance operations, ensuring strong end to end controls
- Support at Home financial modelling and funding implementation
- Provide commercial insight to ELT and Board to support growth and sustainability
About you
You bring depth of experience in leading finance functions and the personal style to influence, develop and build credibility at senior levels. You enjoy working in purpose-led organisations and building capable, engaged teams. You are known for your ability to navigate complexity, balance detail with perspective, and provide calm, considered leadership through periods of change.
You will bring:
- CA or CPA qualifications
- Demonstrated senior experience operating within similar scale organisations influencing the executive
- Strong people leadership skills with a focus on coaching, succession and capability uplift
- Experience working in for purpose, health, aged care, disability, NDIS or similar sectors
- Comfortability and willingness to work in a fully remote environment with dispersed teams
- High attention to detail with a structured and disciplined approach
- Understanding the financial implications of the Support at Home program (launched 1 November 2025) will be highly desirable
- Capability to design and implement financial models and processes for sustainable success
