Senior Software Engineer (.NET)Remote — Based in Sydney or MelbourneRole Overview

We’re looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer who enjoys tackling complex challenges and delivering scalable, secure software solutions. This role is ideal for someone passionate about innovation, mentoring others, and leveraging modern development tools (including AI-assisted coding) to enhance productivity and code quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and modernise full-stack applications using .NET and React
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs with front-end components
• Design, optimize, and maintain MySQL databases
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS (ECS, Fargate)
• Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
• Implement automated testing, code quality, and security checks
• Utilize AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to streamline development workflows
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Required Experience

• 8+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong expertise in .NET (8+), C#, and React
• Hands-on experience with AWS services and Azure DevOps
• Proficiency with MySQL and relational database design
• Solid understanding of secure coding, performance optimization, and best practicesBonus Skills

• Experience modernizing legacy MVC applications
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools
