We've raised over $2MM from Iterative, Ethos Fund, EQ2 Ventures, and Goldbell. We're scaling fast, and we need an Account Strategist to steward our clients' growth using our AI system, and ensure every brand we touch becomes undeniable.

You'll work with brands in the Messy Middle (too big for DIY, too lean for $10K+/month agency retainers) and help them unlock strategic clarity and scalable growth. You're not just managing accounts; you're architecting their success.

This role sits at the intersection of brand stewardship, growth strategy, and AI-powered execution. You'll sanity-check weekly insights, refine strategic direction, and ensure every campaign ladders up to long-term brand equity and revenue growth.

Who are we looking for? 👀

We're looking for a strategic operator with brand intuition… someone who's led marketing for a DTC brand or driven growth at a top-tier agency for multiple e-commerce brands, and now wants to multiply their impact across multiple brands.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 5-7 years in growth marketing or brand strategy, ideally as a Marketing Lead/Head at a DTC brand, or Senior Strategist at a performance or creative agency
  • Deep strategic fluency: You instinctively connect value prop to differentiation to customer psychology to channel strategy. You know what drives growth before the data proves it
  • Brand intuition: You can sense when a campaign feels off-brand or premium, rushed or intentional. You understand how to build long-term desire, not just short-term clicks
  • Performance marketing chops: You've directed paid campaigns across Meta, Google, TikTok. You speak the language of ROAS, LTV, creative testing, and media mix
  • Cultural awareness: You understand what's resonant right now in different verticals (wellness, fashion, CPG). You move with the times, not behind them
  • AI-powered mindset: You're excited to leverage AI for execution while you focus on strategy. You refine prompts, guide outputs, and elevate quality… not just micromanage pixels
  • Client communication: You build trust with brand founders and their marketers. You're the steady hand that makes them feel understood and challenged, not just serviced
  • Location flexibility: LA/West Coast, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore or Kuala Lumpur (remote-first). If you're where we have team members, we co-work 1 day/week.

What you’ll actually do

  • Set strategic direction for 5-8 client accounts: budget posture, messaging pivots, growth priorities
  • Sanity-check weekly Brand Insights: Flag anomalies from the AI and adjust strategy accordingly
  • Refine execution plans: Tweak cycle goals, content pillars, and campaign focus before AI locks the execution
  • Green-light or kill creative concepts: Approve what elevates the brand, refine prompts for what's close, kill what's off
  • Be the voice of Needle to major accounts: Build trust, deliver clarity, ensure clients feel like they're in expert hands
