About the Role
We're looking for a Learning Experience Coordinator to join our team in a role that splits roughly 50/50 between instructional design work and coordinating our virtual classroom programs.
On the design side, you'll work with our Product Innovation Lead and Head of Innovation to research and develop immersive learning experiences for Meg Labs' external clients, leveraging VR, AR, and AI. On the program side, you'll help our school programs run smoothly and ensure classroom teachers are well supported and happy. This includes onboarding teachers onto the program, scheduling classes with our China and Colombia based language teachers, and managing classroom teacher and student accounts on our learning management software.
We're open to recent graduates and early-career candidates who bring genuine curiosity, a strong learning mindset, and the right blend of skills.
This role is remote, but Australia based (Melbourne or Sydney preferred). You'll be on video conferencing software frequently, so you'll need strong internet and a professional looking home setup.
What You'll DoInstructional Design & L&D Research (≈50%)
- Conduct research into adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and best practices in immersive and AI-enhanced learning to inform client projects
- Support the design and development of custom L&D content for Meg Labs clients, including VR/AR training simulations, AI-powered learning tools, and blended digital experiences
- Assist with storyboarding immersive scenarios, drafting instructional text, scripting voiceovers, and preparing assets for designers and developers
- Help test VR/AR content from a learning-effectiveness perspective, documenting user experience issues, refining instructional flow, and gathering feedback
- Research client industries and learner contexts to ensure content is grounded in real workplace needs
- Support the creation of supporting materials such as facilitator guides, learner workbooks, and implementation documentation
- Draft user guides, how-to articles, FAQs, and knowledge base content for client-facing platforms
- Review and proofread learning content for accuracy, clarity, and consistency
Program Coordination (≈50%)School Onboarding & Implementation
- Coordinate the post-signing process for new schools, including onboarding timelines, scheduling, account setup, and induction sessions (in-person or virtual)
- Schedule classes with our China and Colombia based language teachers, aligning with school timetables and accommodating school holidays, NAPLAN periods, and special events
- Manage classroom teacher and student accounts on our learning management software
Teacher Support & Training
- Serve as primary point of contact for classroom teachers, providing lesson delivery guidance, assessment support, and ongoing communication
- Design and deliver Professional Development (PD) sessions, training materials, and reference guides
Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement
- Run teacher surveys and feedback sessions, analyse results, and prepare summary reports for leadership
- Monitor program delivery and KPIs to identify quality issues and improvement opportunities
- Document implementation strategies, case studies, and best practices
Project Coordination
- Support cross-functional projects (e.g. Victorian Young Leaders to China program), providing status updates and conducting post-project reviews
- Help manage content migration, program documentation, and data consolidation
Cross-Functional & Business Support
- Share field insights from direct work with schools and teachers to inform product and program improvements
- Assist Sales with demonstration lessons; occasionally represent Meg at conferences, trade shows, and industry events
- Contribute testimonials, case studies, and content for marketing materials and social media
- Support scaling efforts through process documentation and system improvements
You Are
- A great communicator, both written and orally
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working in Excel and across Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
- Confident with technology and quick to learn new platforms (Zoom, LMS, AI tools)
- Comfortable working with limited supervision and driven to take initiative
- Curious about learning design, emerging technologies, and how people learn
- Experienced in content development, program coordination, education, or related roles (or eager to develop these skills as a recent graduate)
- Interested in being part of a team that is driving change in the way students learn a language at school, and how adults learn through immersive technology
- Not afraid to disrupt the status quo

Nice to Have
- A relevant qualification in education, instructional design, learning and development, educational technology, languages, or a related field
- Exposure to instructional design, content creation, or L&D, even at a project, internship, or university level
- Familiarity with VR/AR, AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude), or authoring tools (Articulate, Rise, Storyline)
- Experience designing and delivering Professional Development or training sessions
- Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
