🌟 About the Role

We’re looking for a forward-thinking Energy Designer to support the planning and design of efficient, sustainable, and reliable energy systems.

You’ll work on renewable energy solutions, grid integration, and energy optimization projects in a fully remote environment.

🎯 What You’ll Do

• Design and support energy systems and infrastructure solutions
• Analyze energy consumption, efficiency, and generation data
• Assist in renewable energy project design (solar, wind, storage)
• Support grid integration and load planning studies
• Develop technical drawings, models, and reports
• Collaborate with engineers and project stakeholders
• Evaluate system performance and optimization opportunities
• Ensure compliance with energy standards and regulations

🛠️ Tools & Technologies

• Energy modeling tools (HOMER, PVSyst – a plus)
• CAD tools (AutoCAD, Civil 3D – a plus)
• Excel / Google Sheets (advanced)
• GIS tools (ArcGIS, QGIS – a plus)
• Data analysis tools (Python, MATLAB – a plus)

• 2–6 years of experience in energy, engineering, or related roles
• Understanding of renewable energy systems and power networks
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to interpret technical and environmental data
• Knowledge of energy efficiency and sustainability principles
• Good communication and reporting skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently in a remote setup
• Bachelor’s degree in Energy, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Full working rights in Australia
