We’re looking for a part-time Finance Manager to become the safe pair of hands behind our numbers — someone who brings clarity, consistency, and insight to the day-to-day financial operations of the business.

This is a permanent, embedded role — not a fractional or portfolio position.

• Keeps the financial engine running smoothly
• Produces reliable, decision-ready data
• Helps us make smart calls in a tight cash-flow environment

You’ll own the fundamentals first — and have a real voice as the business evolves.

What you’ll be responsible for

• End-to-end day-to-day financial management
• Bookkeeping and reconciliation across Xero, Chargebee, and expense platforms
• Invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, and cash-flow management
• Monthly reporting and financial insights for the CEO and leadership team
• Maintaining clean, accurate, trusted financial data
• Working closely with external accountants on tax and statutory requirements
• Supporting the team with clear, practical financial guidance

• The numbers are trusted, up-to-date, and easy to understand
• Cash flow is visible and actively managed
• Monthly reports land on time and support real decisions
• The leadership team feels confident using financial data
• Finance is calm, predictable, and well-run

About you

You’re likely someone who:

• Has worked in startups or scale-ups and understands ambiguity
• Is comfortable operating in tight cash-flow environments
• Enjoys being hands-on and close to the detail
• Can translate numbers into clear insights for founders
• Values consistency, ownership, and long-term impact

You don’t need to be a CFO today — but you do need to be someone people trust with the financial heartbeat of the business.

• Permanent, part-time role (2–3 days/week initially)
• $70–90k package
• Australia-based, same timezone required
• Reports directly to the CEO
