Freelance Clinical Project Manager – Ophthalmology | Australia
We are currently looking for an experienced Clinical Project Manager to support a CRO on a full-time freelance basis in Australia.
This is an ASAP start and requires someone who can take ownership of clinical study delivery, working closely with sites, vendors, CRAs and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure timelines, quality and study milestones are met.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day delivery of the clinical study across Australia
- Manage study timelines, milestones, risks and deliverables
- Oversee CRAs, sites and external vendors
- Support site start-up, activation, recruitment, monitoring and close-out activities
- Track study performance and proactively identify and resolve operational risks
- Ensure study delivery in accordance with ICH-GCP, protocol and applicable Australian regulatory requirements
- Act as a key point of contact across internal and external study stakeholders
Requirements:
- Strong Clinical Project Management experience within a CRO, biotech or pharmaceutical environment
- Previous ophthalmology clinical trial experience
- Strong understanding of Australian clinical trial operations
- Demonstrated experience managing sites, CRAs and vendors
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple study priorities
- Available to commit full-time on a freelance/contract basis
