About The Role
As a Lease Administrator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of an assigned portfolio of leases, ensuring lease information is maintained accurately and key obligations are managed on time. Working closely with key internal and external stakeholders, you will support lease administration activities, payments and reporting requirements across the portfolio.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage an assigned portfolio of standard leases, including lease terms, options, charges and critical review dates.
- Process lease and property-related payments accurately and on time.
- Maintain accurate lease information and records within lease administration systems.
- Support AASB 16 (IFRS 16) lease accounting and reporting requirements.
- Set up vendors and maintain payment records within required timeframes.
- Respond to routine lease administration enquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Process lease transactions and updates with a high level of accuracy.
- Support lease data management and administration activities within Progen and other systems.
- Escalate complex lease matters and non-standard arrangements when required.
- Contribute to the effective management of Healius' lease portfolio.
Our ideal candidate will have some prior exposure to lease or property administration. To be successful in this role, you will be highly organised, customer-focused and have strong attention to detail.
Qualifications And Experience
- Experience in lease administration, property administration, finance administration or a similar transactional support role.
- Understanding of lease terms, charges and review structures, with knowledge of AASB 16 (IFRS 16) lease accounting desirable.
- Experience working with lease administration or property management systems, such as Progen or Petra highly regarded.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong customer service and stakeholder communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Collaborative, proactive and solutions-focused approach.
