Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Microsoft 365 Customer Success Engineer to support customers in improving the health, performance, and adoption of their Microsoft 365 environments.
In this role, you will work closely with Senior Architects and Customer Success Leads to execute assessments, perform analysis, and provide actionable recommendations. This position is ideal for professionals with strong hands-on experience in Microsoft 365 who are passionate about delivering measurable customer value.
Your focus will be on operational execution, insights, and delivery, ensuring customers maximize their investment in Microsoft 365 through improved usage, governance, and configuration practices.
Key Responsibilities
🔹 Platform Health & Readiness
- Perform Microsoft 365 tenant health checks across core workloads (Teams, Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Office Apps)
- Analyze M365 Apps performance and identify configuration or usage issues
- Collect and validate network readiness data (latency, connectivity, bandwidth)
- Document findings, risks, and recommendations for improvement
🔹 Adoption & Usage Insights
- Review usage and adoption reports across Teams, Office Apps, OneDrive, and SharePoint
- Identify trends, gaps, and low-adoption areas
- Support development of adoption strategies and insights in collaboration with senior stakeholders
🔹 Governance & Operational Support
- Participate in reviews of customer governance frameworks and operational practices
- Assist in applying Microsoft best practices during engagements
- Follow established customer success processes, playbooks, and delivery standards
🔹 Documentation & Customer Deliverables
- Create and maintain assessment reports, usage insights, and action plans
- Track follow-ups, actions, and outcomes from customer meetings and workshops
- Contribute to customer workshops, reviews, and success planning sessionsRequired Skills & Experience
- Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft 365 administration or engineering
- Strong experience with Microsoft 365 Apps (Teams, Outlook, Office)
- Solid understanding of:
- Exchange Online
- SharePoint Online
- OneDrive for Business
- Experience in tenant management, performance analysis, and optimization
- Ability to analyze data and provide practical recommendations
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Nice to Have
- Exposure to Microsoft 365 adoption frameworks and reporting tools
- Experience with PowerShell scripting or automation
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 governance and compliance concepts
- Customer-facing or consulting experience
