Role DescriptionThe Digital Marketing Assistant / Social Media Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing digital marketing initiatives across social media and online channels to increase brand awareness, audience engagement, and business growth. This role combines content creation, campaign management, and performance analysis to deliver effective marketing strategies that align with organizational objectives.Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining content calendars, creating and publishing engaging content across multiple social media platforms, and ensuring consistent brand messaging across digital channels. The role coordinates the production of written, visual, and multimedia content while supporting marketing campaigns that drive customer engagement and brand visibility.The position manages daily social media operations by monitoring channels, responding to audience interactions, fostering online communities, and maintaining a professional and consistent brand voice. It tracks key performance indicators such as reach, impressions, engagement, click-through rates, conversions, and audience growth to evaluate campaign effectiveness and identify opportunities for optimization.The role supports broader digital marketing initiatives including email marketing, content marketing, SEO, SEM, paid advertising, influencer collaborations, and promotional campaigns. It also conducts market research, audience analysis, competitor benchmarking, and trend monitoring to develop data-driven marketing strategies and improve campaign performance.Collaboration with design, content, product, sales, and business teams is essential to ensure integrated marketing efforts and consistent communication across all customer touchpoints. The role also contributes to campaign planning, brand development, marketing automation initiatives, and continuous improvement of digital marketing processes.QualificationsStrong understanding of digital marketing, social media strategy, content marketing, SEO, SEM, email marketing, and audience engagement principles. Ability to develop and execute integrated digital marketing campaigns.Proficiency in social media management platforms, content scheduling tools, digital advertising platforms, marketing automation software, analytics tools, and business intelligence platforms. Familiarity with content management systems and graphic design tools is an advantage.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret campaign performance data, identify marketing trends, optimize content strategies, and improve return on investment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create engaging, brand-consistent content for multiple digital platforms and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
