Role Description
FleetMove is seeking a motivated and proactive Transport Solution Manager to join our growing team on a part-time, ongoing contract basis. The Transport Solution Manager is responsible for building, managing, and growing relationships with transport providers on the FleetMove platform. The role’s primary focus is the acquisition, onboarding, and ongoing relationship management of transporters to ensure a high-performing, engaged, and reliable fleet. This role is pivotal in ensuring FleetMove’s network of transport partners delivers exceptional service to customers while achieving growth targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Transporter Acquisition:
- Identify, target, and onboard new transport providers to expand FleetMove’s network.
- Develop and execute outreach strategies to attract high-quality transporters.
- Conduct presentations and demos to communicate the value proposition of FleetMove.
Onboarding & Training:
- Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new transporters, including account setup, system training, and process guidance.
- Ensure transporters are fully equipped and confident in using the FleetMove platform.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth integration of transporters.
Relationship Management:
- Maintain ongoing relationships with transport partners to ensure engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
- Act as the primary point of contact for transporters, resolving issues and providing guidance.
- Monitor transporter performance, provide feedback, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Network Growth & Performance:
- Identify opportunities to increase transporter participation and service availability across regions.
- Work closely with the operations team to align transporter capabilities with customer demand.
- Track key metrics and report on transporter activity, performance, and engagement.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Serve as a liaison between transporters and internal teams (operations, sales, support) to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Provide insights and feedback from the transporter network to help shape product and service improvements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in account management, relationship management, or business development, ideally within transport or logistics.
- Strong knowledge of the Australian transport industry.
- Experience onboarding and managing new transporters or suppliers.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and build long-term relationships.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
- Comfortable with technology and quickly learning new platforms.
