Qualifications
- Strong foundation in test engineering practices, including designing and improving automated test frameworks and methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with test execution and working with structured test cases to validate software functionality and performance.
- Proficiency in software testing concepts, including functional testing, regression testing, and integration testing.
- Ability to apply functional testing techniques to verify that systems behave according to specifications and user requirements.
- Experience with at least one test automation tool or framework (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, TestNG) and familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Working knowledge of at least one programming or scripting language commonly used in test automation (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Python, C#).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in identifying, documenting, and tracking defects.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a distributed, remote team environment.
- Experience with agile or scrum development environments and version control systems such as Git.
- Relevant education or certifications in computer science, engineering, software testing, or a related field are preferred but not required.
