Easy Super is looking for a Senior Client Manager to play a key leadership role within our SMSF Compliance division.
This is not a traditional accounting role.

The Role
As Senior Client Manager, you will oversee a portfolio of SMSF clients while leading and supporting a team of accountants.
You will be responsible for driving quality, workflow management, technical accuracy and client outcomes across your division.
This role requires someone who can think critically, solve problems proactively and operate confidently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of SMSF clients end-to-end
- Review SMSF financial statements, tax returns and audit workpapers
- Oversee complex SMSFs including property, LRBAs and cryptocurrency investments
- Ensure compliance obligations and lodgement deadlines are met
- Lead, mentor and develop SMSF accountants
- Manage workflow, turnaround times and team performance
- Communicate professionally and proactively with clients
- Identify technical risks and compliance issues early
- Drive continuous improvement across systems and processes
- Assist with onboarding and operational growth initiatives
About You
You are organised, technically capable and naturally take ownership.
You bring:
- 10+ years’ SMSF accounting and compliance experience in public practice
- Strong technical knowledge of SMSF legislation and compliance
- Experience reviewing SMSF financials and managing client relationships
- Team leadership or mentoring experience
- CA or CPA qualification (or near completion)
- Experience using BGL360 preferred (or Class)
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confidence working in a cloud-based, paperless environment
- A proactive mindset with sound judgement and accountability

- Experience managing high-volume SMSF workflows
- Exposure to complex or non-standard SMSFs
- Process improvement or automation experience
- Strong problem-solving ability under pressure
