Draftsperson - Single Storey Homes | Work From Home + Flexible Hours

A well-established and reputable residential builder is seeking an experienced Draftsperson to join their close-knit team. Specialising in Project Homes, this business has a strong pipeline of work and a culture built on trust, support, and long-term staff retention. You’ll take ownership of the drafting process from preliminary design through to construction documentation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and buildability across all projects. Working closely with estimators, schedulers, supervisors, and consultants, you’ll help streamline the design-to-construction process and support efficient project delivery. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed working drawings and documentation for residential projects
• Amend and update plans based on client selections, variations, and regulatory feedback
• Liaise with internal teams and external consultants to ensure plans are accurate and compliant
• Ensure all documentation meets relevant building codes, council requirements, and developer guidelines
• Maintain drawing registers and version control

What You’ll Need:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Draftsperson in residential construction
• Proficiency in ArchiCAD
• Strong knowledge of residential building codes and standards
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team environment
