Research Scientist- Machine Learning | $90/hr Remote

Position: Research Experts for Frontier AI/ML Open Questions Type: Hourly contract Compensation: $80-$90 per hour Location: Remote Commitment: ~8–16 hours per selected question Role Responsibilities

• Propose major open questions where a breakthrough would be transformative
• Focus on problems that are concrete, tractable, and close to your expertise
• Build knowledge bases including seminal papers, key datasets, methods, and recent advances
• Compile structured reading lists and expert commentary on sources and approaches

Requirements

• PhD candidate or PostDoc from a top-tier institution
• Deep expertise in AI, ML, or Engineering
• Strong judgment about significance, tractability, and research quality
• Ability to synthesize large bodies of literature into clear learning paths
• Ability to identify high-impact, concrete, and evaluable research questions
