Position Details :Position: Education Systems Implementation Engineer

Type: Hourly Contract

Compensation: $50–$70/hour

Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

• Write, review, and validate API prompts designed to train AI for education-related software
• Leverage your expertise in building and supporting educational software, research tools, and academic platforms
• Contribute to how AI understands academic systems, instructional workflows, and research software
• Work with LMS platforms (e.g., Moodle, Canvas), survey tools (e.g., Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey), and academic data APIs
• Help shape how AI understands learning environments, student progress tracking, and research data analysis
• Write clear documentation and communicate effectively with both technical teams and non-technical educators or researchers
• Work independently and asynchronously using provided tools and guidelines

Requirements

• Strong professional experience as a software or systems engineer supporting education technology, e-learning platforms, or social science research tools
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Education Technology, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience with LMS platforms (e.g., Moodle, Canvas), survey tools (e.g., Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey), or education data APIs
• Experience building or maintaining systems for course delivery, user progress tracking, student management, and academic collaboration
• Strong ability to write clear, concise documentation and communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
