Job Summary:
We are looking for a Program Manager (Entry-Level / Junior / Associate) to join our dynamic team. As a Junior Program Manager, you will assist in the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple programs within the organization. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone at the start of their career to gain hands-on experience in program management, working closely with senior program managers and cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Coordination:
- Assist in the planning and coordination of multiple projects within a program, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
- Support the creation and management of program schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
- Track progress of projects and provide regular status updates to senior managers and stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment of expectations.
- Assist in organizing and documenting program meetings, including preparing agendas, taking notes, and following up on action items.
- Work with teams to ensure that they are informed and equipped to meet program goals.
- Risk & Issue Management:
- Assist in identifying potential program risks and issues and work with senior managers to develop mitigation strategies.
- Track and report on risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution and escalation when necessary.
- Program Reporting & Documentation:
- Help prepare program reports, tracking KPIs, milestones, and program health metrics.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all program-related activities, including project plans, risk registers, and status reports.
- Resource Management Support:
- Assist in coordinating resources across projects to ensure that the right skills and capacity are available to meet program objectives.
- Help manage program budgets and ensure that resources are allocated efficiently.
- Program Support:
- Assist senior program managers in the overall program management, including managing schedules, dependencies, and inter-project coordination.
- Help with the preparation of program documentation, including creating presentations and reports for senior leadership.
- Process Improvement:
- Contribute to the development of program management best practices and methodologies.
- Help streamline processes and improve the efficiency of program delivery across multiple teams.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) are a plus but not required.
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in program management, project coordination, or a related field. Fresh graduates with a strong interest in program management are encouraged to apply.
- Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana, Trello).
- Basic knowledge of program management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues early and assist in resolving them in collaboration with senior program managers.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, while also being able to take initiative and work independently when needed.
Desirable Attributes:
- Interest in program or project management and a strong desire to grow within the field.
- Exposure to Agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
