_Administration Officer_Location: Melbourne, Australia (remote with occasional in-person attendance)
Position type: Full-time or Part-time – 4-5 days per week (0.8–1.0 FTE)
Term: 12 months maximum-term contract with possibility of extension
Salary: $70,000-$78,000 per annum (pro rata if applicable) + super + salary packaging

The Cooperative Trials Group for Neuro-Oncology (COGNO) is seeking a capable and enthusiastic Administration Officer to provide high-level administrative and coordination support across our team, committees, and network of over 1000 members.
Reporting to the Executive Officer, you’ll be responsible for:
- Supporting day-to-day administration and office operations across COGNO
- Coordinating meetings, agendas, minutes and committee support
- Managing shared inboxes, calendars and internal communications
- Assisting with invoicing, purchasing, compliance and record keeping
- Supporting event, travel and project coordination
- Providing administrative support to communications, membership and stakeholder activities
You’ll play a pivotal role in strengthening COGNO’s voice, growing our community, and supporting our mission: “Achieving better health outcomes for people affected by brain tumours through clinical trials research.”
About You
We’re looking for someone who brings:
- Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in administration
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams)
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive, flexible and collaborative approach
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information
Experience in the cancer, health, research, not-for-profit or charity sector will be highly regarded.
