We’re looking for a curious and analytical Data Scientist to extract insights from data and build models that drive informed business decisions. If you enjoy working with data, statistics, and machine learning in a collaborative, remote-first environment, this role is ideal for you.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Analyze large and complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights
• Build, validate, and deploy statistical and machine learning models
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to prepare and clean data
• Translate business problems into data-driven solutions
• Design experiments and conduct A/B testing
• Communicate findings through reports, dashboards, and presentations
• Work closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders
• Monitor model performance and refine models over time
• Document methodologies, assumptions, and results
• Stay updated on data science techniques and tools

✅ Requirements

• 2–5+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or related roles
• Strong proficiency in Python or R
• Solid understanding of statistics, probability, and data analysis techniques
• Experience with machine learning libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
• Proficiency in SQL and data querying
• Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Fluent in English
• Must be based in Australia with legal right to work full-time
