We are now seeking a Sales Consultant - Property Investment to join our growing national team.
Location & Flexibility This is a national role offering flexibility to work remotely from home or operate from one of our Cohen Handler offices across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, and other key locations. The role can be structured to suit the right candidate.
The Role This is a sales role with real substance behind it. You'll be working from proven sales frameworks and scripts, running structured appointment setting, discovery calls, and strategy sessions with prospective investors. But the conversations go deeper than a typical sales role, you'll be helping people understand their goals and how a disciplined approach to property investment can help them get where they want to be.
Your job is to lead the front end of our client journey: building rapport, educating prospects on the value of strategic property investment, demonstrating why Cohen Handler Secure is the right partner, and converting qualified leads into engaged clients. Your role covers everything from the first conversation through to the client signing on and paying their engagement fee. From there, our specialist acquisitions team takes over to source and secure the right property.
You'll be backed by a respected national brand, a strong track record of client results, and a consistent pipeline of enquiries generated through our marketing, referral networks, and brand presence.
Please note: this role does not involve providing personal financial advice. All client conversations are general in nature, focused on property investment education and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Running structured appointment setting, discovery calls, and strategy sessions with prospective investors
- Leading consultative sales conversations about prospects' goals and how property investment can play a role in achieving them
- Educating prospects on property investment concepts, such as timing, leverage, location selection, cash flow vs. growth, and long-term compounding, in a clear, relatable way
- Presenting the Cohen Handler Secure process, value proposition, and track record with confidence and credibility
- Owning the full sales cycle from first contact through to signed agreement and engagement fee
- Qualifying and prioritising leads to focus effort on those ready and suitable to move forward
- Handling objections with professionalism and guiding prospects through the decision-making process
- Maintaining accurate pipeline records and activity within our CRM
- Collaborating with the acquisitions team to ensure smooth, informed client handovers
- Contributing to the ongoing refinement of sales strategy, scripts, and client engagement processes
About You
- You're a proven sales professional who thrives in consultative, relationship-driven environments
- You have a genuine interest in property investing and understand how it can be used as a wealth-building tool
- You know how to build trust quickly and sell through education, not pressure
- You're confident running high volumes of calls, setting appointments, and closing
- You're hungry, self-driven, and take full ownership of your pipeline and results
- You're disciplined with follow-up, organised in how you manage your day, and consistent in your activity
- You're comfortable using CRM platforms and digital tools
- Proven sales experience is essential, background in property, real estate, or a related industry is a strong advantage but not required if you bring the right sales ability and willingness to learn
