Role Overview

As our Event Coordinator, you'll take the lead on planning and promoting our weekly online meetups. You’ll be the behind-the-scenes organizer making sure events are well-publicized, well-attended, and engaging. This is an ideal opportunity if you enjoy building community, connecting with people, and turning ideas into action.

Responsibilities

• Plan and publish weekly meetups across platforms (Meetup.com, LinkedIn Events, Facebook, etc.)

• Actively invite relevant participants (e.g., job seekers, developers, early-stage founders)

• Schedule and send reminders before events

• Help moderate and support during live events (optional but appreciated)

• Collect post-event feedback and implement improvements

• Track event performance and grow community engagement

Requirements

• Organized, reliable, and self-motivated

• Experience with event platforms (Meetup, LinkedIn, etc.) or willingness to learn quickly

• Friendly and professional communication style

• Attention to detail and follow-through

• Interest in community building and career development

• Bonus: Experience managing virtual events or community platforms
