Avina is a national allied health and behaviour support organisation supporting communities across Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia.
Our multidisciplinary teams include Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Positive Behaviour Support, Psychology and Physiotherapy, delivering services across metropolitan and regional communities.
We're looking for an experienced Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor to join our People & Culture team and help us continue to grow our workforce.
The Opportunity
This is a remote, permanent full-time role with an initial strong focus on hands-on recruitment across our clinical workforce.
You'll manage end-to-end recruitment across multiple states and disciplines, partnering with leaders to understand their needs, proactively source candidates and keep vacancies and pipelines moving.
As a senior member of the team, you'll also have the opportunity to contribute to workforce planning, graduate recruitment, talent pipelines, employer branding and improvements to how we recruit as Avina continues to grow.
What You'll Be Doing
- Manage end-to-end recruitment across allied health, operational and corporate roles.
- Proactively source and engage candidates across hard-to-fill disciplines and locations.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand vacancies, priorities and workforce needs.
- Screen, interview and manage candidates through to offer.
- Build and maintain talent pools across key disciplines and regions.
- Create engaging job advertising and candidate communications.
- Maintain recruitment systems, pipelines and reporting.
- Provide leaders with market insights and practical recruitment advice.
- Support graduate recruitment, university engagement and other talent initiatives.
- Ensure recruitment processes meet relevant NDIS and workforce compliance requirements.
What We're Looking For
Previous Allied Health and NDIS recruitment experience is essential.
You'll Also Bring
- Strong end-to-end recruitment experience, ideally in a senior TA or recruitment role.
- A good understanding of allied health disciplines and the NDIS talent market.
- Strong proactive sourcing skills and confidence engaging passive candidates.
- Excellent stakeholder management and candidate communication skills.
- Experience managing multiple vacancies and competing priorities.
- Confidence using ATS and sourcing platforms — JobAdder and Employment Hero experience would be highly regarded.
- The ability to work autonomously in a remote environment while staying connected with the wider team.
Experience with graduate recruitment, university engagement, workforce planning or employer branding would be an advantage.
Why Join Avina?

You'll have the opportunity to make an immediate impact on recruitment while also contributing to how we build our talent pipelines and recruitment approach longer term. Laptop and phone are provided to support your remote setup.
