We're looking for detail-oriented Software Engineers to evaluate, author, and refine YAML-based configurations and structured workflows — helping ensure that AI systems produce accurate, reliable, and production-ready outputs. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for engineers who thrive in the details — people who genuinely enjoy working close to configuration logic, schemas, and system architecture.

What You'll Do

• Author, review, and maintain YAML files used for configuration, data pipelines, and system definitions
• Evaluate AI-generated YAML outputs for correctness, structure, and schema compliance
• Identify formatting issues, logical inconsistencies, and edge cases in configuration files
• Ensure YAML structures are accurate, well-organized, and consistent with engineering best practices
• Collaborate with engineers and researchers to support reliable system behavior and data quality
• Apply rigorous attention to detail to prevent errors that could impact downstream systems

Who You Are

• 1+ year of professional Software Engineering experience
• Comfortable working with YAML in real-world production or data-driven environments
• Highly detail-oriented — you notice subtle errors that others overlook
• Familiar with version control workflows (e.g., Git) and structured engineering processes
• Able to work independently, follow precise technical requirements, and deliver consistent quality

Nice to Have

• Experience with configuration-driven systems, CI/CD pipelines, or infrastructure tooling
• Exposure to schema validation, linting, or structured data formats such as JSON or XML
• Prior experience supporting AI, data, or automation workflows
