Development Economist (AI Training)About The Role We’re seeking development economists to help improve AI systems trained on global and development economics.

What You’ll Do

• Review development economics questions and explanations used in AI training.
• Assess reasoning related to growth, inequality, and global development.
• Provide structured feedback to improve accuracy and contextual nuance.
• Apply real-world or academic experience to validate scenarios.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet project deadlines.

Who You Are

• 3+ years of experience teaching or researching development economics.
• Strong understanding of global economic issues and data interpretation.
• Able to evaluate written economic reasoning clearly and critically.
• Comfortable working with structured review tasks.

Nice to Have

• Graduate degree in Economics or related field.
• Field, NGO, or international policy experience.
• Familiarity with AI or content evaluation workflows.
