We are expanding our team in Sydney or Melbourne to support a major new RPO partnership with a focus on technology recruitment on a remote basis. We are seeking a skilled Talent Advisor with a proven track record in managing end-to-end recruitment cycles for various technology roles and providing strategic advisory to stakeholders.
About the Role
As a Talent Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for hiring managers, acting as a talent consultant to drive high-quality hiring outcomes. Beyond just filling roles, you will influence the recruitment process, manage the candidate experience from outreach to offer, and provide data-driven insights to our client partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Stakeholder Management: Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, conducting deep-dive briefing sessions to understand technical requirements and business context.
- End-to-End Recruitment: Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including strategy development, interview coordination, and complex offer negotiations.
- Strategic Advisory: Provide market mapping, competitor insights, and salary benchmarking to guide hiring decisions.
- Talent Pipeline Management: Work closely with sourcing partners to ensure a steady flow of high-quality tech talent and maintain long-term candidate relationships.
- Candidate Experience: Ensure a best-in-class candidate journey, providing timely feedback and managing the "employer brand" perception in the market.
- Data Integrity: Maintain accurate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and utilize recruitment analytics to report on KPIs and SLAs.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline recruitment workflows and implement best practices in tech hiring.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in recruitment (agency or in-house), specifically within the technology sector.
- Consultative Skills: Proven ability to influence and challenge stakeholders while maintaining strong professional relationships.
- Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the ANZ / ASEAN tech talent landscape and various technical skill sets (e.g., Software Engineering, Cloud, Data Science).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Problem Solving: A proactive approach to overcoming hiring challenges and a "solutions-oriented" mindset.
- Tools: Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and CRM tools.
