About the Opportunity:

A prominent regional QLD based firm, is seeking a Senior Accountant to bolster their Business Services and Tax team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone with 5+ years of experience within an Australian accounting firm, coupled with CA/CPA qualifications or nearing completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with a diverse portfolio of clients, particularly within the primary production sector.
• Preparations of IAS, BAS and FBT returns
• Preparation of financial statement and tax returns & Div 7A, CGT and FBT Calculations
• Guide clients in achieving their economic objectives
• Advisory Services
• Liaison with the ATO
• Maintenance and preparation of clients financial records
• Excellent client relationship and rapport-building skills

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in an Australian accounting firm.
• CA/CPA qualifications or willing to complete.
• Proven experience working with primary production clients.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
