Investment Research Analyst

• Position: Corporate Development Expert – Contract, Remote
• Commitment: 10 hours per week, Duration: Minimum four weeks
• Drive corporate development initiatives for a foundational model AI lab. Contribute to strategic research projects with potential for future opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate financial models and analyze market sizing/TAM to support AI research projects.
• Develop investment summaries and memos to guide strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with AI research teams to align corporate strategies with AI advancements.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet project deadlines and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Provide insights and recommendations to enhance corporate development processes.

Requirements / QualificationsMust-Have Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in corporate development
• Experience in financial modeling, market sizing/TAM analysis, or investment/analysis summaries and memos

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI research projects or technology-driven initiatives

Engagement Details

• $100/hour compensation
• Fully asynchronous work schedule
• Minimum engagement of four weeks, starting in October
• Classified as an “at-will” contractor to Mercor
• Payment via Stripe Connect based on logged hours
