About The Role We’re looking for a part-time Bookkeeper (0.4 FTE, approximately 2 days per week, flexibility on hours required to achieve this) to join our team in Australia. This role will be responsible for maintain accurate financial records and supporting the team with financial analysis for decision making. You will work closely with the business leadership team; the head office finance function (based in Europe) and customers to ensure accurate reporting and timely management of cash. Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate day-to-day financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with Australian tax and superannuation obligations.
  • Support BAS/GST preparation and lodgement.
  • Prepare financial summaries and basic management reports. Identify opportunities to improve processes and workflows

About You

  • Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of bookkeeping or relevant finance experience, ideally in a consumer goods or SME environment.
  • Proficiency in accounting software commonly used in Australia (Preferably Netsuite, however other ERPs, Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks are well regarded).
  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills. Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and integrity when handling financial data.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with internal and external stakeholders.

Location: Australia (Melbourne preferred, but open to remote anywhere from Australia). The role is 100% work-from-home with occasional team meetings face-to-face.
