Job Description

Posted on: January 7, 2026

  • Recruitment Coordinator
  • Remote
  • Part-Time, 20-30 hours
  • $65,000 - $80,000 FTE - ($30-40 p/h)

This role exists to make the business run better.

You will work directly with the founder (me) to remove day-to-day delivery and process work from my plate, allowing the business to scale beyond a one-person operation.

This is a pivotal hire and the first step in building an industry defining agency.

The role is delivery and process-focused. It is not a sales or business development role. It is hands-on, operational, and central to how the business functions week to week.

Over time, this role may grow into something more senior, or remain a highly flexible, specialist coordination role depending on the individual’s goals and strengths.

This role is ideal for someone with a genuine interest in recruitment and the retail, ecommerce, and fashion industries, who wants exposure to the full lifecycle of a recruitment business and to work closely with a founder as the business enters its next growth phase.

What this role owns

The Recruitment Coordinator owns the smooth running of recruitment delivery and internal systems.

Specifically:

  • First-stage telephone and video screening for the majority of roles
  • Candidate communication throughout the process, including updates, feedback, and follow-ups
  • Creating candidate profiles from interview transcripts using agreed tools and templates
  • Managing and maintaining the ATS/CRM (Atlas) as the single source of truth
  • Talent pooling and registering high-quality candidates speculatively
  • Sourcing for junior and mid-level roles where appropriate
  • End-to-end ownership of junior roles once confident and trained
  • Preparing and sending weekly candidate and job mailers
  • Job advertising and advert management
  • Supporting social media and marketing activity (LinkedIn posts, basic Canva work, content coordination)
  • General recruitment administration and coordination to keep work moving without bottlenecks

What success looks likeFirst 30 days

  • Understands how the business works end to end
  • Learns the recruitment process, tools, and expectations
  • Begins taking tasks off the founder’s plate
  • Improves day-to-day organisation and responsiveness
  • Makes the founder’s week feel lighter

By 60 days

  • Confidently running first-stage screens
  • Producing client-ready candidate profiles independently
  • Managing the ATS/CRM with minimal input
  • Handling candidate communication without escalation
  • Working quickly, accurately, and reliably

By 90 days

  • Operating with real autonomy
  • Proactively identifying better ways of working
  • Improving process flow and reducing friction
  • Suggesting practical improvements to systems and templates
  • Acting as a trusted right hand in delivery

If this role is working, the founder is no longer the delivery bottleneck.

Hours, structure, and flexibility

  • Part-time role, approximately 20–30 hours per week
  • Fully remote
  • Flexible working hours, with some agreed core availability
  • Hours can flex week to week depending on workload
  • Ideal for someone balancing other commitments (e.g. return-to-work parents)

_The focus is outcomes, not clock-watching._What we’re looking for

This role would suit someone who has:

  • Some recruitment experience, or
  • Experience in retail, ecommerce, or fashion with a strong interest in recruitment

And who is:

  • A clear, confident communicator with candidates
  • Organised and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable with systems, tools, and learning new software
  • Proactive and able to take ownership
  • Curious, practical, and solutions-focused
  • Happy working closely with a founder in a growing business

Creativity is a bonus, particularly for social media and content support, but delivery and organisation come first.

I can't wait to read your application and resume - yes - I will read them all personally.
