For more information about us, please visit our website: www.datarock.com.au Job Summary Reporting to the Geology Product Owner, we are seeking a detail-oriented, technologically adept Geologist to enhance our Operations team's capabilities. You will employ your geological knowledge to support the delivery of our pioneering geological and geotechnical solutions using the Datarock platform. You will be central to our product delivery lifecycle, from conceptual design to collaborating with Datarock's labelling team, Machine Learning (ML) engineers, and data scientists, ensuring the seamless and effective delivery of high-quality data to our customers. As a specialist on the Datarock Platform — a tool that converts drill core imagery into comprehensive geotechnical and geological datasets — you will provide training, host webinars for our customers, and actively improve user engagement and platform utilisation. Responsibilities
- Deploy your geological understanding within the framework of our Datarock Platform, acting as a key provider of domain-specific insights.
- Collaborate closely with our ML engineers and developers to create top-tier, customer-oriented products.
- Represent our company to customers, effectively communicating the results, the unique advantages of our products, and our commitment to delivering superior value.
- Work alongside internal and external stakeholders on projects, ensuring their timely and budget-conscious execution.
- Oversee and maintain thorough process documentation to guarantee operational consistency and facilitate smooth delivery to customers.
- Develop user-friendly support documentation, providing clear, concise information to aid customers and stakeholders in understanding our products and solutions.
Qualifications & Experience
- A degree-level qualification in Geology or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 3 years of industry experience in Mine/Exploration Geology.
- Experience in geological core logging, 3D modelling, and geological data QAQC.
- The skill to communicate complex data in an engaging manner.
- The capacity to manage diverse responsibilities within project delivery.
