Position: English Linguistics Specialist – AI Trainer

Type: Part-time / Full-time (Contract)

Compensation: $32-$65/hr

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Analyze, annotate, and correct English language data to improve AI comprehension and fluency.
• Perform detailed linguistic analysis to capture nuances in grammar, syntax, semantics, and usage.
• Review AI-generated outputs to identify linguistic inaccuracies and recommend improvements.
• Create clear documentation, guidelines, and annotation standards for AI training workflows.
• Collaborate with AI developers and fellow linguists to address edge cases and language challenges.
• Stay up to date with advancements in AI language technologies and contribute to process improvements.
• Promote best practices in written and verbal communication within a remote team environment.

Requirements

• Expert-level command of English grammar, syntax, and language usage.
• Proven experience in linguistic analysis and language data annotation.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to detect subtle language nuances.
• Familiarity with AI language models, NLP concepts, or related technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a remote setting.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
