Full-stack developer (C#/React). 6-month contract. 100% WFH (Australia/New Zealand)

About the project:

The R&D department of a major mining corporation initiated an internal project aimed at developing workflows for data and image processing, with subsequent analytics, utilising multiple AI/ML services and distributed computing. The presentation layer features sophisticated, high-quality plots and data visualisations.

About the team:

A highly autonomous team of very experienced cross-functional engineers with a deep understanding of the technical and business parts of the project.

About the role:

A full-stack software developer is needed to meet the increasing demand for the product and new features.

Mandatory requirements:

1. Expertise in .NET/C# (Multithreading, IoC/DI, WebAPI), SQL, ReactJs (TypeScript), CSS/SASS.
2. Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines.
3. Knowledge of Azure resources for SaaS apps.
4. Strong understanding of software development principles, coding standards, and best practices.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Additional experience with the following is a bonus:

• 2D graphics in JavaScript/React.
• Kubernetes.
• Azure DevOps.
• Machine Learning models, Azure ML training pipelines.

Desired personal qualities:

• Think with engineering rigour — clean code, great UX, scalable solution.
• Can work independently with limited supervision.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership of tasks and drive them to completion.
