What we’re looking for
We’re looking for that someone who is uniquely amazing at what they do, enjoys working with cool, smart people and is looking to join our team on a part-time gig.
While we get to know each other and learn where we can crank, stretch and best innovate, the core focus will be a number of different search engine optimisation campaigns and digital advertising projects for our most-valued clients. This will range from straight-up technical analysis, content optimisation and link building, through to reporting and client meetings. You'll need to handle task prioritisation conflicts on the fly and display outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Your experience:
- Degree or certificate in business admin, marketing, statistics, etc.
- At least three years of experience working in an agency-style setting, in an SEO role
- A thorough command of SEO tools like ahrefs, ScreamingFrog and Google Search Console
Inherent skills:
- Well organised with proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise effectively
- Ability to flex, adapt quickly and react positively to changing business needs
- An eye for detail and excellent documentation habits
- Can operate independently and within a team
- Communicating with stakeholders to understand their needs and share considerations
- Creativity with a problem solving mindset

About the role
- 3 to 4 days / week, permanent part-time
- Flexible working hours within 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday.
- Flexible working location within Australian time zones.
Remuneration
$30 to $45 per hour, depending on experience

Role outline / Job DescriptionOverview
The SEO Manager’s role is to implement and deliver on strategies for the client, and to manage the quality and efficiency of implementation across SEO Executives.
Objectives
The key objectives of the SEO Manager is to ensure smooth delivery and implementation of strategy.
- Maintaining healthy, long-term client relationships
- Proposing and delivering SEO strategies in an effective and efficient manner
- Supporting the hiring, development and training of Executives
Core responsibilitiesLeadership and management
You will be responsible for the leadership, development and management of an Executive and where appropriate, outsourced suppliers for delivery.
- Growing the capability to deliver within the division through hiring and training Executives.
- Identifying and managing outsourced supplier delivery
- Identify problems with our processes and suggest improvements in process and productivity optimisation
- Staying abreast of the latest digital media trends, including changes and updates in Google algorithms, to ensure maximum efficacy of your clients’ online marketing campaigns.
Account management and planning
You will be Involved in the planning, development and implementation of SEO strategies, specifically;
- Accountable for creating monthly reports and managing performance dashboards to acquaint clients with the progress of their digital campaigns.
- Accountable for analysing points of conversion and monitoring website metrics such as traffic from search engines as well as traffic on the clients’ websites.
- Accountable for detailed keyword research and technical audits using various SEO tools and experience
- Carry out content gap analysis and develop detailed content strategies
What does success look like?
- Successfully improving the performance of our client’s organic traffic channel through improved rankings and increased organic traffic
- Healthy, partner-style client relationships that expand their retainer over time
- Efficient delivery of all projects and retainers within the available hours
- Continued growth and success of any Executives
Desired qualifications, skills and experience
- 3+ years of experience as an SEO Manager or similar role
- Thorough experience with SEO tools like ahrefs, ScreamingFrog and Google Search Console
- Ability to use WordPress CMS
- In-depth knowledge of research principles and methods and experience in analysing data
- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on clients’ success
