Back-End Developer

We’re looking for a reliable and problem-solving-oriented Back-End Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable server-side applications and APIs. This role is ideal for developers who enjoy working with data, systems, and business logic in a collaborative, remote-first environment.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain back-end services, APIs, and system logic
• Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and designers to deliver end-to-end features
• Integrate with databases, third-party services, and internal systems
• Ensure application performance, security, and scalability
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging
• Monitor and troubleshoot production issues

✅ Requirements

• 0–3 years of experience in back-end development or relevant projects/internships
• Proficiency in at least one back-end programming language (e.g. Python, Java, Node.js, Go, or PHP)
• Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
• Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and server-side architecture
• Familiarity with authentication, authorization, and security best practices
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment
• Fluent in English
• Based in Australia with full legal right to work full-time
