About ArtOut

ArtOut is a global, community-powered mobile app that maps street art, architecture, and public creativity one real-time photo at a time. The original app was loved around the world. Now we’re rebuilding it from the ground up with a fresh vision, better tech, and a wider mission.

We are looking for a talented React Native Mobile App Developer to develop cutting-edge mobile applications for both iOS and Android. You’ll be working alongside cross-functional teams to create intuitive, user-friendly apps that meet business goals and drive customer engagement.

What You’ll Do:

• Build and maintain high-quality mobile applications using React Native.

• Work closely with product and design teams to deliver exceptional mobile user experiences.

• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code that aligns with our coding standards and best practices.

• Integrate APIs, third-party libraries, and ensure seamless app functionality.

• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

• Collaborate in an Agile development environment with bi-weekly sprints.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues to improve app performance and user experience.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proficiency in React Native, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript libraries (e.g., Redux, React Navigation).

• Strong knowledge of mobile development for both iOS and Android.

• Experience with native mobile development (Swift, Kotlin) or bridging native modules is a plus.

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries integration.

• Experience with Git, version control, and collaboration tools (e.g., GitHub, GitLab).

• Knowledge of mobile app deployment processes (App Store/Google Play).

• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• Familiarity with Expo, Firebase, TypeScript, or other mobile technologies.

• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.

• Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
