The overview:

  • Location: Remote (Australia)
  • Type: Contract, 10–15 hours/week
  • Duration: 3-6 months initially
  • Commencement: Early-Mid January
  • Remuneration: $50-60/hour (depending on experience)

About The Role

We're a boutique digital consultancy working with Australian brands.

Our specialty is performance marketing and creative strategy - figuring out what makes ads work and why.

We're looking for a part-time ads manager who can handle day to day platform execution while bringing a creative eye to the work.

This isn't a button pushing role. You'll be responsible for keeping campaigns running smoothly but we also want someone who can look at performance data and connect it to why something is _wor_king creatively, not just that it is.

You'll flag fatigue, suggest what to test next, and bring ideas to the table.

What You'll Do

Platform Execution

  • Upload creative assets to Meta, Google, and TikTok ad platforms
  • Pause underperformers, adjust budgets within set parameters, duplicate winning ads
  • Maintain creative asset organisation and naming conventions
  • Flag delivery issues, spend anomalies, or anything that needs attention

Creative Insight

  • Review performance through a creative lens - what's working visually, what messaging resonates
  • Spot when creative is fatiguing and suggest what to test next
  • Have opinions on hooks, formats, and angles
  • Keep an eye on competitor creative and platform trends worth testing

How We Work

Communication happens via Slack and video calls.

You'll ping observations as you see them (creative fatigue, interesting competitor moves, clear winners worth scaling) and we'll have a brief daily wip/sync to review performance, align on priorities, and plan what's next.

What We're Looking For

  • 1–2 years hands on experience in Meta Ads Manager (Google and TikTok a bonus)
  • Comfortable working across multiple ad accounts and brands
  • A genuine interest in what makes creative work. You notice ads in your feed and have opinions about them
  • Clear, proactive communication. You don't wait to be asked
  • Organised and reliable. We're trusting you with client accounts
  • Someone who is open to the possibility of transitioning to full time employment.
  • Based in Australia

Nice to Have

  • Experience with fashion, lifestyle, or e-commerce brands
  • Basic Canva or creative tool skills
  • Familiarity with Shopify
