Biology Subject Matter Expert (AI Training)About The Role We're looking for biology experts to help evaluate and improve AI systems trained on advanced scientific content. Your knowledge will directly shape how AI understands, reasons through, and communicates complex biology — making a real impact on the next generation of scientific AI. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No prior AI experience required.

What You'll Do

• Design challenging biology questions that rigorously test AI reasoning and knowledge
• Develop clear, step-by-step solutions with well-structured scientific logic
• Evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, depth, and quality of reasoning
• Identify gaps, errors, and weaknesses in AI responses across biology domains
• Collaborate with researchers to refine benchmarks spanning undergraduate to Masters-level biology topics
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Currently pursuing or have completed a Master's degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a closely related field
• Strong scientific reasoning and problem-solving skills across advanced biology domains
• Able to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely in writing
• Comfortable providing structured, analytical feedback
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to scientific accuracy
• No prior AI or data annotation experience required

Nice to Have

• Experience in data annotation, data quality assessment, or evaluation frameworks
• Familiarity with large language models or AI-generated content
• Background spanning multiple biology subdisciplines (e.g., molecular biology, genetics, ecology, physiology)
