Role Description:The HR Shared Services professional is responsible for delivering centralized, efficient, and high-quality human resources support across multiple HR functions within an organization. This role focuses on standardizing HR processes, improving service delivery, and ensuring consistent employee experience across areas such as employee lifecycle management, HR administration, payroll coordination support, benefits administration, and HR systems maintenance.Key responsibilities include managing and processing employee data changes such as onboarding, transfers, promotions, role changes, and offboarding activities. The role ensures accuracy and compliance in HR records and supports the smooth execution of HR transactions within HR information systems. The HR Shared Services professional handles employee queries related to policies, benefits, compensation, and general HR processes, providing timely and accurate responses or escalation where necessary.The position is responsible for supporting payroll coordination activities by ensuring data accuracy, validating inputs, and collaborating with payroll teams to resolve discrepancies. The role also assists with benefits administration, leave management, attendance tracking, and other core HR operational processes.The HR Shared Services professional contributes to process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies, recommending automation opportunities, and supporting the implementation of standardized HR workflows and self-service solutions. The role plays a key part in enhancing employee experience through efficient service delivery and consistent application of HR policies.In addition, the position supports HR reporting and data management by maintaining accurate records, generating routine reports, and ensuring data integrity across HR systems. The HR Shared Services professional collaborates closely with HR business partners, talent acquisition, payroll, IT, and other departments to ensure seamless HR operations and service alignment.The role requires strong attention to detail, process discipline, and the ability to manage high-volume transactional work while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. A customer-service mindset and commitment to continuous improvement are essential for success in this position.Qualifications:Strong knowledge of HR processes, employee lifecycle management, HR operations, payroll coordination, benefits administration, and HR systems is essential. Understanding of HR policies and compliance requirements is required.Excellent organizational and administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, process high volumes of work, and meet deadlines in a structured environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy are critical.Proficiency in HR information systems, payroll tools, and standard office software such as spreadsheets, word processing, and reporting tools. Familiarity with HR self-service platforms is beneficial.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle employee inquiries professionally, clearly, and efficiently. A strong service orientation is essential.Knowledge of data management, HR reporting, and basic analytics to support HR decision-making and operational tracking.Ability to identify process gaps, support automation initiatives, and contribute to continuous improvement in HR service delivery.
