Junior Accountant

Role Description

This is a part-time, remote Junior Accountant role. The Junior Accountant will handle daily financial record-keeping, prepare invoices, monitor accounts payable and receivable, and assist in the preparation of financial reports. Responsibilities also include performing bank reconciliations, managing expense reports, and providing support during audits and tax preparation.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in accounting software, bookkeeping, and financial reporting
• Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation processes
• Attention to detail with skills in data entry and accuracy
• Familiarity with financial regulations and tax compliance standards
• Good organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred
• Prior experience in an accounting role is an advantage, though not required
