Web Developer - Freelance project

This role involves designing and developing a website inspired by the structure and functionality of rip.ie. The project is for an initiative and requires a developer who can deliver a visually appealing, user-friendly, and reliable platform. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, communicate effectively, and deliver results within a short timeframe. There is potential for additional work based on the success of this initial project. Responsibilities

• Design and develop a responsive website with features similar to rip.ie
• Implement user-friendly navigation and intuitive UI/UX
• Integrate essential functionalities such as obituary listings, search/filter options, and submission forms
• Ensure the platform is secure, scalable, and optimized for performance
• Collaborate remotely and provide regular progress updates
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly
• Deliver the completed project within the agreed timeline

Skills And Requirements

• Proven experience in web design and development, preferably with similar platforms
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant web frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue)
• Experience with backend development (Node.js, PHP, or similar) and database integration
• Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
• Ability to implement secure user data handling and privacy best practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
• Availability to start immediately and deliver within a few hours
• Remote work capability
