Products - Magazine, web site, newsletters.
We sell adverts to travel destinations, hotel chains, cruise lines, airlines & more.
We are one of the largest international media company that promote travel & tourism. We have 1 million readers worldwide.
Globally we have exhibited in over 1200 travel & hospitality trade shows since 2009.
This is a contract, remote role for a Media Sales Partner at Travel and Tour World. The Media Sales Partner will be responsible for engaging with new customers and maintaining relationships with existing ones. This will involve generating new leads, identifying and targeting key decision-makers, and managing the entire sales process from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate New Business: Identify and secure new advertising clients, including travel destinations, hotels, airlines, and cruise lines.
Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
Sales Strategy Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
Lead Generation: Research and target potential clients through industry networks, trade shows, and online platforms.
Custom Proposals and Presentations: Create tailored advertising proposals and deliver impactful presentations to decision-makers.
Sales Process Management: Handle the entire sales lifecycle, from prospecting and negotiation to closing deals.
Market Knowledge: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities within the travel and tourism sector.
CRM Management: Use CRM tools like Salesforce to maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales progress, and performance metrics.
Event Participation: Represent Travel and Tour World at global travel and hospitality trade shows to promote the brand and connect with potential clients.
Collaboration and Teamwork: Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of advertising services and high client satisfaction.
Requirements:
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and sales skills
· Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets
· Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
· Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
· Strong customer service and relationship management skills
· Experience in B2B sales, preferably in advertising, media, or publishing
· Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
· Experience with CRM software, such as Salesforce
· Ability to work independently and remotely in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
· Travel industry experience is a plus
· Knowledge about the MICE & tourism industry
