Senior PHP Laravel Developer / Lead (Work from home)

Snapforms (snapforms.com.au) is a cloud-based online forms SaaS that allows organisations to create and publish online forms to improve processes and collect data with ease. Our software supports the needs of many of Australia's largest brands.

We're looking for a 'Jack of All Trades' senior developer / tech lead with experience in all the areas required to run a Laravel web application. You will take a senior role in the technical side of our company with room to grow as we continue to grow.

What you’ll do:

• Work with us to contribute and plan ideas for features and improvements to the platform.
• Write clean, functional code on both the front-end and back-end to develop new features, integrations and refine or re-factor existing ones.
• Manage the operational health, availability, stability, and performance of our application.
• Define, establish, follow and embed engineering practices and procedures within the platform team including design guidelines, coding standards, appropriate development and test practices, tool and automation of delivery and operations e.g. CI-CD, Monitoring, Health checks, Alerting, Incident/ problem Management, Release & change management.
• Work with and help to grow our small team of developers, including testing and reviewing other developer’s work.

Who you are:

• Experience as a senior / lead in a SaaS product.
• Extensive experience in PHP, Laravel, Javascript, AWS.
• Understanding of coding best practices including SOLID principles.
• Experience with automated testing.
• Diverse knowledge is preferred including experience with the following: Serverless, CDK, Docker, MySQL, HTML/CSS, jQuery, Vue, Bitbucket, TDD.
• Love to solve problems and high attention to detail.
• Enjoy working and contributing to a remote team using tools like Slack and JIRA.
