Technical Delivery Manager

Technical Delivery Manager (Remote – Australia) Forwood builds software that helps some of the world’s largest organisations prevent fatalities and serious incidents. We’re looking for a Technical Delivery Manager to support delivery across two cross-functional engineering teams. This is a hands-on, day-to-day delivery role working closely with our Product Managers and Tech Leads. You’ll help keep work moving, improve planning quality, coordinate priorities, and ensure teams and stakeholders stay aligned as delivery progresses. What You’ll Be Doing (Day to Day) Working closely with two engineering teams to keep delivery flowing week to week

• Facilitating and supporting agile rituals including refinement, sprint/iteration planning, estimation, stand-ups (as needed), and retros
• Helping ensure tickets are delivery-ready (scope, acceptance criteria, dependencies, risks)
• Coordinating delivery timelines and sequencing with the Product Manager and Tech Leads
• Tracking progress through Jira (or similar), following up on blockers, and keeping momentum going
• Communicating delivery status clearly to stakeholders — including risks, trade-offs, and changes in scope/timing
• Helping teams maintain a sustainable pace by balancing business urgency with capacity
• Supporting continuous improvement by spotting patterns (e.g. recurring blockers, over-commitment, scope creep)

About You

• 3 - 7 years experience in software delivery roles such as Delivery Manager, Scrum Master, Project Manager, or similar within a product engineering environment
• Confident facilitation skills and a practical approach to delivery
• Comfortable working with engineers and understanding technical constraints (no coding required)
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple streams of work
• Collaborative style — able to drive clarity without heavy process or bureaucracy
